The Sundarbans
The forest, a short boat ride away
The world's largest mangrove forest lies across a narrow river from our jetty.
On the doorstep
A forest of tides
The Sundarbans is a vast tidal mangrove forest, home to birds, fish, crocodiles and, deep inside, the Bengal tiger.
Our resort sits just across the river, so the forest is part of every day. You can see its edge from the jetty and watch the tide change.

Boat trips and tours
Small-boat trips and Sundarbans tours start from the resort. Call us for dates, routes and prices.

The riverside jetty
A timber walkway runs out over the water to thatched pavilions. It is loveliest at dawn and at dusk.

Gardens and ponds
Wander the paths past ponds, flowering shrubs and red-roofed pavilions.
Tour details vary by season and tide, so please ask us when you book.
